My name is Deborah Morgan and I created The Gaming Recluse blog in early 2015, though I’ve run a similar blog on tumblr for many years.

I’ve been playing games since I could hold a controller, and though many may think it sad, I personally think games help development far more than any classroom could when it comes to tactical thinking and risk assessment.

My first video game was Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. It was, by far, the best game I had played in my short life and my initial introduction to Playstation. Not only was it challenging and made me use a whole new type of thought processing, it had an engaging storyline and a protagonist who would become a role-model that would influence the rest of my life.

Although I am a PC gal through-and-through now, I feel there’s no competition between PS and XBox (so, I can’t wait to get my hands on a PS4).

If you’re interested in finding out anything more, feel free to contact me.
